What We Want

Raising seven children has many advantages and sends a lot of good my way. But there is one disadvantage.

Finding time to think, to meditate on scripture, to pray and study, has to be done on the run instead of being able to spend long hours in these beloved activities. It's okay. Children never get in the way of what is important. Mentoring and caring for them is a God-given job.

But if I were given the time to do something else for a few days, I would grab my Bible and a few history books and find a desert hideaway.

What do you want?
